Research, referencing and writing with Google

This session will demonstrate how to use a variety of Google tools and Apps to effectively research, reference and write an academic essay at the middle and high school level. Using Boolean searching and other advanced search techniques, participants will learn how to also organize their notes to help correctly cite their research, and draft an essay in Google Docs, and how to detect plagiarism when suspected. This session is ideal for teachers who work with student writing.
